The INW26 is an international scientific event, dedicated to strengthening global cooperation, sharing innovative practices, and fostering dialogue across institutions and cultures. It intends to bring together teachers, researchers and staff working in the field of Education to share, discuss, reflect on and develop their ideas, with special focus on “Interculturality and Pedagogical Transformation: Horizons of Innovation in Higher Education”. It is a four-day program of lectures, workshops and project presentations, and will take place at the School of Education of the Polytechnic of Porto (Portugal) from 21 – 24 April, 2026.
This meeting is an international week promoted by our International Relations Office, offering good opportunities for intercultural exchange and both personal and academic development. Therefore, professionals may attend INW26 Conference/International Week in order to get in touch with colleagues from other partner universities. We are hoping for a wide variety! Please feel free to forward this email to interested parties.
Registration is free for students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff members from our Erasmus+ partner institutions (or any other mobility programmes), yet compulsory. We are currently preparing an online registration form and we’ll let you know as soon as it is open for sign up.
The visitors under a teaching or staff mobility should contact directly with the International Relations Office (gri@ese.ipp.pt) to discuss the topics for open lectures/workshops. Other participants (national or international) are invited to submit project presentations/pitches of ongoing or completed projects for short presentations. Submission platform for this purpose will be launched in January 2026 and will remain open until 9 February 2026.
