SHARING GOOD PRACTICES IN HANDLING POST-WAR TRAUMA
April 22-24 meeting was held in the framework of the Erasmus+ project „Developing Trainer Skills in Preventing Postraumatic Stress in Adults”.
The Institute of Law, Economics and Administration, whose staff is implementing the project, hosted representatives of the project leader Toroslar Halk Eğitim Merkezi and partner institutions Bingol University and Esplai Social.
Meetings included training in providing an in-depth understanding of post-war trauma and post-traumatic stress related to wars and armed conflict, offering practical tools for emotional and cognitive management, and supporting personal and community resilience in the face of war and conflict crisis.
During the three-day meeting, the project partners discussed the progress of the work and presented the current results of the various activities.
The meeting program also included a visit to the Schindler Factory museum and the site of the former German Nazi concentration camp Plaszow.
The meeting ended with the presentation of certificates to project participants by the Director of the Institute of Law, Economics and Administration Associate Professor Krzysztof Gurba Ph.D.
